The Question is: Does any of you feel a little old nowadays? And yet, maybe it’s too early to live the healthy lifestyle…
Having the right amount of Food and Exercise while preventing the smoking and is on a healthy weight base. It doesn’t seem any simpler than it is, right?
There are small tricks to start on with your Healthy Lifestyle by just adding an Apple a day for your snacks and having extra few glasses of Water. These are small ways without having them drastic changes that would start your journey.
There are plenty of other simple ways to live a Healthy Lifestyle and maybe time to time you could have them Cup Cakes on week-ends.
One of the biggest problems in United Arab Emirates today is lack of activity. People seem to think that the more movement we do is quiet a waste of time, but lets be honest here; the more movement you do, the healthier your lifestyle is. It may cost employees as much as 30 percent more to maintain their lifestyles. Though, the lack on this activity has been increasing in this country but I can just suggest by walking more around the house-garden, parks, beaches, etc. It has been proven earlier that only 10% of weight reduction has been boosting your self-motivation and increasing age longevity.
Being physically and emotionally healthy, which reflects your attitude and many things that goes into creating a healthy lifestyle, including:
· Positive Relationships
· Appropriate Exercise
· Adequate rest
· Normalizing blood pressure
· Lower pressure on blood sugar
· Support body structure
· Promote weight loss and flexibility
Advantages and Disadvantages of a Healthy Lifestyle:
· Reduce the risk of Heart disease, stroke and diabetes
· Increase and improve range of movement
· Help maintain flexibility as you age
· Maintain bone mass
· Prevent osteoporosis and fractures
· Improve mood and reduce symptoms of anxiety and depression
· Enhance self esteem
· Improve memory in elderly people
· Reduce stress
Keep Up Your Motivation
There are various times where we start our Fitness but then we stop it and re-consider it, once again. Though, you have to know that there’s only one way to being Healthy by exercising. If you stop the exercising, it wouldn’t take less than 2weeks to lose your Fitness.
Various ways to keep-it-motivated:
· Have a Planned Program
· Do some Yard-Work, Laundry, Cleaning the House
· Park a block away and walk the rest of the way to home
· Stand instead of sitting or better than that, Move around rather than standing still
· Turn off your Twitter account! Do it once a week to do something more active!
When is the time to stop? If you experience any of the below, then STOP to take a REST and if anything worst happened, call your Doctor!
· Dizziness or lightheadedness
· Abnormal heart rhythm
· Pain in the chest under the breastbone, and/or down the arm
· Pain in the knees, feet, or ankles
Eating Well (Eating a healthy diet!)
A clean diet can help with a lot of self-management. Weight management and quality of life as you get older! For simple ways and finding out how much of calories do you need, please refer to your Nutrition or search on Google or refer to the tips below:
· Have fruit! Add it to your breakfast, salads and even on dinners!
· Don’t have heavy-dressings! Have the lighter ones and you’ll automatically have less-calories in your dish
· Eat low-fat and fat-free dairy. Prevent junk-food!
· Find lower substitutes to the food you have in your refrigerator
· Have more Vegetables whenever you can, just by adding them to your meal!
An Apple a day, keeps the doctor away! Making small changes in how you live each day can lead to success!
