Ajman (‘ajm?n) literally meaning ‘small city’ in Arabic
It is one of the seven emirates constituting the United Arab Emirates (UAE). With an area of just 260 square kilometres, Ajman is the smallest emirate by area. It lies between Sharjah and Umm Al Quwain.
Ajman is ruled by Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi and it has experienced massive development and a construction boom in recent years.
