Sheikh Majid bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Culture and Arts, yesterday honored 15 winners of the 5th session of the Majid Bin Mohammed Youth Media Award which was organized under the theme ‘Show Your Talent’.
The ceremony was held at the Forum Hall at the Dubai World Trade Centre and was attended by dignitaries and members of the jury and the contestants, reports Al Bayan newspaper.
Meanwhile, the winner of first place received Dh100,000, the winners of the second place received Dh50,000 and Dh30,000 went to third winner.
The value of the award is about Dh900,000 distributed among 15 winners.
Sheikh Majid reviewed with the attendants the presentation of the works which have been nominated by the electronic voting and then choices of the jury nominated for the awards.
Sheikh Majid watched a film about the award and its activities in its 5th session, in addition to the work that was uploaded to the website of the Award.
Majid Mohsen of Dubai Media Incorporated (DMI) expressed in his word on behalf of the Arbitration Committee his thankful to Sheikh Majid bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum for his patronage of such Award.
As well for the opportunity giving to the citizens from youth to show their talents and encourage them to improve their skills and also their performance.
