DUBAI, 11 March 2008 ? Authorities in Dubai have launched a major cleanliness campaign that, among other measures, imposes fines of up to 500 dirhams and 4 black points for spitting in public places or littering.
Sometimes it takes MANNERS ( Common decency ) which costs nothing more than awarenss & education but some people tend to ignore. We all have a role to play in keeping our city/country clean and beautiful. If all else fails legal options should and will be sought. This is unpleasant and inappropriate as well as unhealthy.

It looks like civic sense is a forgotten value. People have forgotten all about having a regard for public property, and possessing etiquettes like cleanliness, politeness etc.
We must improve the cleanliness in our city/country. UAE is our home and to keep it clean, is our duty.
