Lately I’ve been receiving broadcasts with pictures & video about the death of Mohd AlTayer which is very sad & mean of people who spread such. Therefore,? I broadcasted the following:
“Dear all, I know it’s exciting to spread stuff by a click of a button, but before u broadcast anything regarding an accident or a tragedy, put yourself in the families shoes, imagine how they would feel if such reached them.. Use Social Media wisely, after all we are in the age where people control the information..”
I feel that a lot miss-use social media to spread rumors, false news and bash others, we need to help the community understand the power we have at hand right now and spread awareness on how to use it effectively.
