“Nothing too revealing” is the new policy Mayor Bobbio wants to enforce, says the BBC’s Duncan Kennedy in Rome.hmmmmm interesting and yes well said Sultan. Remember “All we ask for is Decency” and do you remember the Dubai Mall incident? So decency is required in most countries in the world not only in “Arab” “Muslim” countries.
“I think it’s the right decision,” a local parish priest, Don Paulo Cecere, told the Cronache di Napoli newspaper. “It’s also a way of combating the rise in sexual harassment.”I don’t see anyone questioning that? I don’t even hear anyone fussing about it, why? Is it because its not an Arab Muslim country? oh yea also in other places they have banned kissing in cars!

Its not that it isnt an Arab Muslim country. Because the UAE has long lost it’s Arab and Muslim roots.
It’s that expats in the UAE have become complacent. They BELIEVE that they are right. They are BETTER. They have an EXPECTATION to do as they wish. And WE Emaratis were the ones who allowed this mindset to begin.
We allowed them to do as they want because we were making money. We allowed them to take our residency requirements as a joke because we dont enforce them. We are the ones that allow them to dress as they wish because we dont enforce our own laws.
Good for that mayor. As an elected official he is doing what at least the majority of his people want. And you cant fault a guy for that.
