Madinati Traffic Safety Campaign

“The initiative has received tremendous response from the public as we received more than 12,400 complaints from March 2009 to March 2010 from people who were concerned about the safety of traffic and aesthetic look of roads and the city,” said Maitha Obaid Bin Udai, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Traffic and Roads Agency at the RTA.

The call comes as part of the Madinati initiative of the Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA). The Madinati initiative which means “my city” was launched by the RTA to encourage people to be part of the RTA’s endeavour to ensure traffic safety for all and keep the city clean.
