Al Ain Sports Club goalkeeper Yousuf Abdul Rahman, who met a serious car accident on Thursday evening. He was operated upon at the Rashid Hospital in Dubai and was said to be recovering from a broken jaw, collarbone and cheekbones.
It is said hat Abdul Rahman was driving to join Al Ain for their training in Dubai ahead of yesterday’s UFL match against Al Nasr, crashed near Al Dhaid after a tyre burst. He was first rushed to Al Kalba Hospital and later airlifted and transferred to Rashid Hospital following directions from Shaikh Hazza Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, First Deputy President of Al Ain Club, First Deputy President of the Honorary Board and Chairman of Al Ain’s board of directors.
