Islamic Personality of 2010

H. H. Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah, received yesterday former Sudanese president Field Marshal Abdul Rahman Swar Al Dahab, Chairman of the Islamic Dawa Organisation (IDO), who was named the Islamic Personality of the year by the Dubai International Holy Quran Award.

Sheikh Hamad congratulated Swar Al Dahab for being selected the Islamic Personality of the year who briefed him on the activities and programmes of the IDO in health, educational and social fields. Later, Sheikh Hamad welcomed Qatari Ambassador Abdullah Al Uthman who called on him to extend Ramadan greetings. – WAM
